Ways to connect with YAH

Organise a YAH Sunday at your church

From January to June every year, we prioritise visiting local churches in Hemel Hempstead and Kings Langley to share the vision of Youth Across Hemel and to update the congregation about our work.

Church visits range from giving a 15 minute update to running the usual sermon slot so please contact us to discuss what we can offer at your church.

Provide Volunteers

Volunteers are KEY to our work at Youth Across Hemel. We use church volunteers to run or assist our RE lessons and clubs. We have wonderful volunteers to help facilitate our MIX events and we have volunteers to assist with general administration for our charity.

If you have individuals in your church who would be a wonderful asset to our team of volunteers, please encourage them to get in touch.

Distribute our newsletters and event flyers.

We communicate to our supporters through email, It would be great if church leaders could sign up to these here and the congregation made aware of this option.

If you would like our newsletter printed for your church to display or distribute on chairs, please let us know and this can be arranged.

Attend our monthly prayer meetings

We have monthly prayer meetings on the fourth Tuesday of the month in person and on zoom. It would be great to have as many people supporting YAH by joining us. If you would like to join us, please send an email for more info.

You may also want to organise a separate prayer evening for Youth Across Hemel for your church congregation only. If you do, please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to attend.

Financially Support Youth Across Hemel

Churches can support us financially as part of their mission through one-off gifts or a regular standing order. Please see our donations page to see the various ways to do this.

You may also want to organise, as a church, a fundraising event on behalf of YOUTH ACROSS HEMEL. For example, we have had Harvest meals and quiz nights organised by local churches with the proceeds going to YOUTH ACROSS HEMEL.
